Backstage In Paradise: South Tour Photo Diary Part 2

EN// Well, i did it. Only a couple of days since the last post, I'm really proud. So today I'll show you the second part of the south tour pictures which means beautiful Kerala and the amazing beaches of Goa. Unfortunately we had only two days there but we got to spend the whole last day laying on the beach (I got a sunburn) and as much as I appreciate travelling and seeing a different place every day, that was just great. But still, also the places we saw in Kerala, like Munnar and Thekkady, are on my list of places I want to come back to when I visit India the next time.

So, about what I am up to right now: It's festival time again! Holi, to be specific, the festival of colors like some of you might already know. Today night was the first part where we had a huge fire symbolizing the victory of good over evil in the religious legend behind this festival (if you want to read more about that look up 'the legend of Prahlad and Holika') and tomorrow is the day I'm so excited for when I finally get to throw tons of color powder at people! Enjoy you're Monday everyone, I sure will!

DE// Jap, ich habe es geschafft. Nur ein paar Tage seit meinem letzten Post, juhuu! Also, heute kommt der zweite Teil der Bilder von der Sueindien-Tour, das heisst das wunderschoene Kerala und die grossartigen Strande Goa's. Dort hatten wir leider nur zwei Tage, aber immerhin konnten wir den ganzen letzten Tag nur am Strand liegen (ich habe mir 'nen Sonnebrand geholt) und sosehr ich Reisen und jeden Tag einen anderen Ort sehen auch zu schaetzen weiss, das war schon ziemlich toll. Aber trotzem sind auf die die Orte in Kerala die wir gesehen haben, z.B. Munnar und Thekkady, auf meiner Liste der Orte, die ich nochmal besuchen will, wenn ich das naechste Mal nach Indien komme.

Okay, und was hier aktuell so los ist: Es ist mal wieder Festival-Zeit! Um genau zu sein geht es um Holi, das Festival der Farben, wie einige von euch vielleicht schon wissen. Heute abend war der erste Teil, wo wir ein riesiges Feuer hatten, das in der Legende den Sieg von gut ueber Boese symbolisiert (wenn ihr Genaueres wissen wollt, schaut mal 'die Legende von Prahlad und Holika' nach) und morgen ist dann der Tag, auf den ich mich schon so lange freue, wenn ich endlich mit tonnenweise Farbpulver um mich werfen kann!
